Legal work for companies, families, and property transactions

We advise on ACRA filings and commercial contracts, wills and lasting powers of attorney, and HDB or private property completions. Consultations are by appointment at 120 Robinson Road, #14-01.

A Robinson Road office for work that has a deadline

Clients instruct us when a document has to be right before it is signed: a shareholders’ agreement before a funding round, an option to purchase before the OTP lapses, or a will before overseas travel. We sit in the CBD so meetings, signings, and registry work stay close to ACRA, the Singapore Land Authority, and the courts.

The first conversation is factual. We ask what you hold in writing, who the other parties are, and which date cannot move. We then set out the statute or registry process that applies — Companies Act duties, stamp duty on a transfer, or the formalities of a Singapore will — and the work we would do if instructed.

We do not sell packaged “legal products”. Scope is written after that meeting. You see the tasks, the likely timeline, and the fee basis before we draft, file, or negotiate.

About the practice
Legal adviser presenting documents to clients during a consultation

Three areas of Singapore legal work

Each matter is scoped on its own facts. The same client may need more than one area — for example a director who is also buying a flat and updating a will.

Boardroom used for company and shareholder meetings

Corporate Advisory

Shareholder agreements, board papers, commercial contracts, and replies to ACRA or sector regulators for Singapore companies.

Personal Legal

Wills, lasting powers of attorney, employment contract reviews, and written family arrangements for Singapore residents.

Property & Conveyancing

OTP review, title search, stamp duty, CPF refunds, and completion for HDB, private, and commercial property.

Property services

From first call to a signed file

The same order applies to a contract, a will, or a sale: read the papers, write the scope, then draft or lodge. You always know who is on the file and what the next date is.

Advisers reviewing a file together at a meeting table
  1. Consultation

You bring the contract, title, or family facts. We say what the law requires in Singapore and whether we can take the file.

  2. Scope in writing

You receive the tasks, a working timeline, and fees. We do not start drafting or lodging until you accept that note.

  3. Drafting and filings

We prepare the documents, mark up the other side’s draft, and deal with the bank, developer, or registry as the matter needs.

  4. Completion

You get the signed originals or lodgement receipts, plus a short note of any follow-up date — for example a CPF refund or an annual return.

What you can expect on the file

The same adviser stays on the matter

You are not handed between unnamed juniors. The person who took the first meeting stays responsible for the drafts and the completion.

Singapore procedure, not general talk

Advice names the form, the registry, and the date: OTP exercise, SLA lodgement, LPA certificate issuer, or ACRA filing — not a summary of “best practice”.

Fees before the work starts

You approve a written scope. Additional work is agreed first. We do not issue an open invoice for unagreed tasks.
